Voter Turnout Around 10 Percent of Eligible Voters

At 5 p.m. 1,584 voters had cast ballots for the 2013 Burlington Town Election.

Voter turnout in today's Burlington Town Election is somewhat low.

As of 5 p.m. 1,584 voters, or 10.12 percent, of eligible voters had cast ballots for the Burlington Town Election. Burlington has 15,652 registered voters.

People were still coming through at 6 p.m. when Patch editor Richard Hosford was at the polls.

Residents have until 8 p.m. to cast their ballots. The polls are at the Burlington High School.
