Young Females Threatened Store Employees and Customers; Couple Lost $700 Cash in Mall; Malicious Damage to Vehicle

Young females known to store management only by sight caused a disturbance in the store. Group was asked to leave.

BURLINGTON, Ma. - Excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Saturday, Nov. 28

At 10:39 a.m., malicious damage reported in Papa Gino’s parking lot. Employee reported his vehicle was damaged overnight. A boulder was thrown through his vehicle, Ongoing problem.

At 5:28 p.m., malicious damage in the area of Burlington Mall. Vehicle keyed sometime after 4:30 p.m.

At 8:31 p.m. shoplifting reported at Lord & Taylor. Detained female to be summoned to court.

Sunday, Nov. 29

At 1:17 a.m., motor vehicle stop on Humboldt Avenue. Motorist driving around with trunk open. Operator hit trunk button by mistake.

At 11:41 a.m., lost money at mall. Caller reported when she and her husband were at the Burlington Mall Friday night, between 9 p.m. and and 10:30 p.m., they lost approximately $700. Reporting party also notified Mall Security.

At 4:23 p.m., past threats at Nordstrom Rack. Caller reported a group of young females threatened several employees and customers. Subjects known to store management only by sight caused a disturbance in the store. Group was asked to leave and threatened store employees and customers. Advised to not interact with the group if they return, but to call police to assist with formal identification and formalized trespass process.

Monday, Nov. 30

At 2:36 p.m., shoplifter at Sears. Sears Loss Prevention reported a male party stole a TV and fled in a gray SUV.

At 3:39 p.m., suspicious activity reported. Caller reported her credit card was taken from her purse at CVS, and used in the Mall and then returned to her purse. Suspect identified. Terrance Eady, of Malden, to be criminally charged with larceny over $250 by single scheme, larceny of credit card over $250, credit card fraud over $250 and five counts of forgery of document.
