Join us at Lovestruck Books for a flirty, feel-good Joint Book Bash with romance favorites Julia Connors and Victoria Wilder as we celebrate Penalty Play and the deluxe release of Bourbon & Lies. Expect witty banter, irresistible chemistry, and behind-the-scenes tea on

hockey heartthrobs, small-town secrets, and the kind of love that breaks all the rules. Grab a drink from our cafe and wine bar, settle in for an author chat and Q&A, then stick around for salutations and signed books! Please note: in the interest of time, we’ll be limiting one personalization per author per attendee.

EVENT DETAILS

• 6:30 PM: Doors Open – Settle in, grab a drink from our cafe and wine bar, and get ready for a great discussion!
• 7:00 PM: Discussion Begins – Julia and Victoria will dive into Penalty Play and Bourbon & Lies.
• 7:45 PM: Q&A Session – Your chance to ask the authors anything!
• 8:00 PM: Signatures, Snapping Pics, and Salutations – Meet the authors, get your book signed, and snap a photo.
• 8:30 PM: Last call - Grab your final pour from the wine bar.
• 9:00 PM: Event Wraps Up – Thanks for joining us!

Tickets are limited, so grab yours soon! If the event sells out, you can join the Eventbrite waitlist by selecting “Reserve a spot” followed by “Join Waitlist”. Should any spots open up, you’ll have 24 hours to register before we offer it to the next person.

ACCESSIBILITY

Check-in will take place at our front entrance on Brattle Street. If you have any accessibility needs, you're welcome to use our side entrance (located on the right side of the building), which is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp.

Guests who would benefit from priority seating or any additional assistance are encouraged to reach out in advance — just email us at events@lovestruckbooks.com. We're more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.

BOOK PICKUP POLICY

If you purchased a book with your event ticket but can’t make it to the event—and don’t request a refund—we’ll happily hold your book for pickup for up to 30 days after the event date.

We’ll be in touch via the email you provided at checkout to help coordinate pickup. After 30 days, if we haven’t heard from you or made other arrangements, we’ll consider the book abandoned property and may donate it or return it to inventory so it can find a new home.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Julia Connors grew up in warm and sunny California, but her first decision as an adult was to trade her flip-flops for snow boots and move to Boston. She’s been enjoying everything New England has to offer ever since, and now that she’s acclimated to the snowy winters and finally found all the best places to get good sushi and tacos, she has zero regrets. You can usually find her on her treadmill at her desk, getting lost in fictional worlds involving hot athletes and the sassy women they fall hard for. When she stops writing she’s most likely to be found outdoors, preferably with a pair of skis or snowshoes strapped to her feet in winter, or at the lake or ocean in the summer.

Victoria Wilder is a contemporary romance author, which really means that she writes stories about falling in love and all of the messy, flirty, and sexy things that follow.

She is an east coast girl, based in Connecticut. Which means she is always chasing the next season. Victoria is living a chaotic and big life with her husband, two kids and dog/3rd-kid, Linus. She believes in the power of a great story, and that love and romance are at the core of all the BEST ones!
