The School Committee will revisit the proposal December 18, ahead of a December 31 deadline, and families should note added course and community service expectations tied to graduation.
   

• Lexus SUV Karen Read was accused of using to fatally mow down her cop boyfriend to be auctioned off (nypost.com) — A high-profile SUV tied to the death of Boston police officer John O’Keefe, whose body was found outside a Canton home in 2022, is now being prepared for auction in Massachusetts. The vehicle had been stored at the Canton Police Department and by state police as evidence, while related civil and countersuits involving Canton-connected investigators and witnesses continue.
   

• Canton Youth Football 7th grade squad reaches first Super Bowl (thecantoncitizen.com) — Canton’s seventh grade Bulldogs capped an 8-1 season by reaching the AYF Super Bowl for the first time, facing North Attleboro at Dedham High. The team, guided by coach Jeff Eckler and his staff, credits support from Canton High players, the eighth-grade squad, and local trainers for helping them become “stronger, bigger and faster.”
