• Woman shot, seriously injured near Canton apartment complex, police searching for suspect - Boston News, Weather, Sports (whdh.com) — A woman in her 20s was seriously injured in a targeted shooting Monday night while sitting in a car at Lamplighter Village apartments in Canton, prompting an active search for an armed suspect. Canton police are urging residents near Lamplighter Village and Canton Woods, from Tracywood Road south to the Stoughton line, to shelter in place and avoid Route 138 due to heavy police presence.
   

• Karen Read's 2021 Lexus LX 570 Is Heading to Auction (clublexus.com) — Canton residents will recognize the 2021 Lexus LX 570 once towed by the Canton Police Department in the Karen Read case, which is now being prepared for auction in January. The SUV, central to a closely watched trial involving local and state investigators, has been repaired and detailed as Read and others continue related civil legal battles.
