5 Things: Clougherty Pool Fundraiser, Art Reception
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on April 12 in Charlestown.

1. Rain: Today will be rainy and breezy, with patchy fog after 11 a.m. and wind gusts up to 37 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. Rain will last into the evening, mainly before midnight. High: 41, Low: 38. Weekend forecast: Saturday will be partly sunny with a slight chance of showers; high near 52, low around 40. Sunday will be sunny with a high near 55 and a low around 37.
2. Pool fundraiser: Help support the Charlestown Community Center and the renovation of Clougherty Pool at a fundraiser today from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Knights of Columbus Hall (545 Medford St.). Come enjoy a night of fun and dancing with DJ Dennis Taylor, light food and a cash bar. Tickets cost $20 per person at the door.
3. Art show: The Artists' Group of Charlestown will hold their ninth annual Spring Juried Show and Open Studios this weekend, April 13-14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the StoveFactory Gallery and Studios (523 Medford St.). An opening reception will be held today from 6-9 p.m. All are welcome.

4. Youth athlete breakfast: All Charlestown youth athletes are encouraged to attend a free pancake breakfast this Sunday, April 14 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Schrafft Center dining hall. Sponsored by Charlestown Against Drugs, the event will feature former Boston Bruins player Brian Leetch as guest speaker, a free raffle with prizes of hockey sticks and posters signed by Leetch and a visit from the Boston Bruins mascot Blades.
5. Free Bootcamp class: Ultimate Bootcamp is offering a free class on Saturday, April 13 beginning at 9 a.m. at Paul Revere Park. The class is open to the public but does require advance signup. Suitable for all fitness levels, Ultimate Bootcamp leads participants through cardio drills, obstacle courses and partner workouts.
