New RMV Location Launching In Chelsea
The new location is replacing another that is about to close its doors.
CHELSEA, MA — The Registry of Motor Vehicles is opening its newest service center in Chelsea on Monday, July 14.
The new location on 121 Webster Ave. is intended to be the replacement of the Revere location on 9 Everett St., which is closing on Friday, July 11.
Some of the new Chelsea location’s most notable features include being fully accessible to people of all physical abilities, 19 customer service counters, additional special customer service for commercial customers, a “wellness room” for their employees, and indoor air quality monitoring.

“The new Service Center in Chelsea is the second of our three scheduled relocations planned for this year, and we are excited to welcome customers to this new location,” Registrar of Motor Vehicles Colleen Ogilvie said.
The RMV opened its other newest location in Milford last month.
