5 Things: Rep. O'Flaherty Coffee Hour, Seamus Visit
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on May 20 in Charlestown.

1. Possible rain: Today will be cloudy with a chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service. High: 68, Low: 58.
2. Coffee talk: State Rep. Eugene O’Flaherty holds office hours every first and third Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to noon at Zume's Coffee House (223 Main St.).
3. Hang out with Seamus: Bring the kids to the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.) today at 4:30 p.m. to read to or just visit with Seamus the trained therapy dog. Children of all ages are welcome.

4. Ropewalk review: The Charlestown Preservation Society Design Review Committee will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. to discuss a redevelopment proposal for the Ropewalk building in the Charlestown Navy Yard. The meeting will be held at 20 Devens St., in the Mary Colbert Apartments community room.
5. Yard sale signup: Charlestown nonprofit Trinity Recovery for Women’s townwide yard sale has been rescheduled for June 1, which means there is more time to register your sale. For a $15 tax-deductible donation, your yard or sidewalk sale will be listed on a brochure that will be distributed around town. You keep all proceeds from your own yard sale. To register, print and fill out the form on the Trinity website.
