A Potluck at the Training Field

The Friends of the Training Field will be holding their Second Annual Potluck on Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. The neighborhood is invited to "Charlestown’s living room," to meet their neighbors on a summer evening. If you go, please bring a dish to share.

The Friends of the Training Field is a neighborhood association with a  mission is to beautify, preserve, and improve the historic Training Field, one of America’s first urban greenspaces. The Soldiers and Sailors monument, which is the centerpiece of the park, has been restored.  But much more remains to be done in this historic park, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and charming surroundings.
