Sen. Sal DiDomenico Receives Public Service Award

Senator Sal DiDomenico, who represents Charlestown and the rest of the Middlesex and Suffolk District in Massachusetts, recently received the Citizens Bank Public Service Award from the Greater Boston Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) during their 30th Anniversary Gala at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology.

DiDomenico was praised for his work championing the Community Development Partnership Act (CDPA) as the Senate co-chair of the Committee on Community Development and Small Business.

The CDPA allows local community development corporations the ability to develop locally-tailored, market-based strategies for rebuilding housing markets, reducing blight, expanding local business activity and increasing access to jobs for local residents.
