UPDATE: 'Art in the Park' Event Coming to Charlestown

Editor’s Note: Due to rain in the forecast, this event has been moved to Sunday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Artists’ Group of Charlestown will hold its annual “Art in the Park” event next weekend, a chance for local artists to exhibit their work.

The event, which has been held for the last 16 years, will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 in City Square Park in Charlestown. A rain date will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7.

City Square Park is handicap-accessible and open to the public. The event, co-sponsored by Charlestown-area businesses and organizations, offers 60 artists and artisans space to exhibit their original work throughout the day.
