Artists Group Seeks Volunteers for Art in the Park
This year's Art in the Park takes place on Sept. 10. The Artists Group of Charlestown is looking for a few volunteers to help with setup and loading.
The Artists Group of Charlestown is looking for volunteer support to help setup and prepare for this year's Art in the Park celebration in City Square, which takes place on Sept. 10.
Here's what is needed:
1.) A volunteer to reserve the van from Budget Rental behind the Hood Plant on New Rutherford Avenue, pick it up on Friday night (this year it will be Sept. 9) before the event on Saturday September 10th using our credit card.

2.) A volunteer to drive the van to the StoveFactory Gallery Friday evening for loading. A “loading crew” will be at the StoveFactory to get all the materials needed for the raffle, information table, chairs, materials, credit card, etc. and other displays, loaded into the van.
3.) A volunteer to drive the van to City Square Park by 7 a.m. on Saturday to unload. There will be an “unloading crew” at the park.

4.) A volunteer at the end of the event, around 5:30, to help load the van up again and drive it back to the StoveFactory and unload it into the Gallery.
A few strong people would be greatly appreciated. All materials will be in the Gallery before Friday, marked and ready to be loaded.
