Boston Firefighter Injured in Two-Alarm Blaze
The heavy blaze broke out at a three-family home on Lexington Street late Monday night.
A Boston firefighter was injured while battling a heavy two-alarm blaze at 217 Lexington Street Monday night.
Fire officials said the blaze broke out around 10 p.m. at a three-family home. Smoke was billowing from the structure when crews arrived on scene.
All three residents who were inside the building made it out safely. One firefighter was transported from the scene to Mass. General Hospital with a should injury.

The fire caused an estimated $200,000 in damage. Fire officials said the blaze was sparked by a plumbing torch that was being used for work on the building’s third floor.
