Boston Hospitals Rank Among Best in Massachusetts

Two Boston hospitals received five stars out of a possible five in a federal patient survey of hospitals across the country. Five hospitals received four stars.

Patients at about 5,000 hospitals across the country ranked their experiences Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, which was conducted Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of 2014. The results were released this month.

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary’s ranking was based on 388 patient responses. It was one of four hospitals in Massachusetts to earn five stars. Just two Boston hospitals earned under four stars.
