Boston Man Sought in Connection to Gruesome Murder
Ashley Bortner, 29, of New Jersey, was found burned and bound in Bridgewater on Nov. 3.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Boston man after a woman was found dead and burned near MBTA commuter rail tracks in Bridgewater three weeks ago.
Fernando Owens, 43, is wanted for his alleged role in the death of Ashley Bortner, 29, of New Jersey, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced Tuesday.
Owens’ current whereabouts are not known. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to Cruz. The public is asked to share any information regarding his location.

On Nov. 3, Bridgewater police discovered a fire burning on the west side of the tracks at Oak and Crapo Streets. Officials determined that it was a human body burning. Bortner was pronounced dead at the scene.
