Reading is FUNdamental
Friday, Oct. 31
Trick-or-Treating begins at 9:30 a.m. from the front desk downstairs for free books and prizes.

Fall-themed songs and rhymes.
Ages 0-3
Tricks and Treats (3 p.m.)
Enjoy Halloween stories and activities.
Ages 2-8
Little Kids R.A.P.
Thursday, Oct. 30 (4 p.m.)
The “Rhythm and Poetry” (R.A.P.) workshop is meant for ages 3-8 and will include creative writing activities with a hip-hop beat. Award-winning educator and songwriter Corey DePina will inspire children to love reading and writing.
Mother Goose on the Loose
Wednesdays, Nov. 5-Dec. 17 (11 a.m.)
A literacy program for ages 0-3.
Art Workshop
Thursdays, Nov. 6-20 (4 p.m.)
Raul Gonzalez, artist & graphic illustrator, teaches children to express themselves through color and line. Ages 5+
Poetry Workshop
Thursdays, Dec. 4-18 (4 p.m.)
Artist and educator Pam Golden guides children making and decorating mugs and bowls for holiday gift-giving. Ages 5+
Music & Movement
Fridays: Oct. 24, Nov. 21, Dec. 19 (10 a.m.)
Sean from Baby Wiggles plays guitar and leads adults and children in sing-along songs, instrument playing and dancing. Ages 0-5
Pooh Partners
Tuesdays: Oct. 28, Nov. 18, Dec. 16 (4 p.m.)
Designed for Children with Autism, this program explores social skills by examining animal behavior and providing interaction with therapy animals.

Fun with French
Fridays: Nov. 14, Dec. 12 (10 a.m.)
Session of games, songs and activities to introduce little ones to the sounds of the French language.

Animal Encounter
Tuesday, Dec. 2 (4 p.m.)
Mass Audubon presents “Miraculous Mice,” a mice presentation of mice and a conversation with a naturalist educator.
Ages 3+
Folktales East & West
Tuesday, Dec. 9 (4 p.m.)
Enjoy performances of “The Three Little Pigs,” “Why Rat Came First,” and “Grandfather Sun.” CityStage actors involve the audience in energetic sketches.
Ages 2+
