CHARLESTOWN, BOSTON, MA — A Charlestown man is facing multiple assault charges and kidnapping after telling officers he sliced a woman's face with a razor blade early Monday morning, the Boston Herald reported.
Boston police officers responded to a basement on Cambridge Street at 5:50 a.m., where they found Ismail Mohamed, 40, sitting on a bed with a woman on the floor, according to the outlet.
Mohamed told officers that he and the victim, with whom he claims he does not have a relationship, were fighting and that he went to sleep before awakening to find the woman injured. He then said he used a razor blade to attempt to reduce the swelling around her eyes.
