The Charlestown location of Mexican restaurant and tequila bar Papagayo, according to a recent press release, is moving to Saugus.
The Charlestown Papagayo opened about two years ago after a Max & Dylan’s location closed down. The newest Papagayo is located in Somerville’s Assembly Square, which is just a 10-minute hop from the former Chelsea Street spot.
Papagayo offers tacos, burritos and the Health Hearty Tacos menu with lettuce cups as an alternative to tortillas. The drink menu includes margaritas, cocktails and boasts over 180 tequila options.
