Charlestown Shooting Victim Identified
A 28-year-old Roxbury man was shot and killed in the Bunker Hill Housing Development last week, police say.
Police have identified the victim of a night as Anthony Worrell, 28, of Roxbury.
At approximately 10:46 p.m. on Aug. 31, officers were called to the scene with a report of a person shot. On arrival, police met with EMTs who were already attending to Worrell. He was transported by ambulance to the Massachusetts General Hospital with life threatening injuries where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Police have not made any arrests or released any other details of the case yet.

Last week, neighbors in the Bunker Hill Housing Development laid out a shrine to the victim with stuffed animals, candles, photographs and bottles of Corona.
Police say the Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
