Charlestown's 2015 Halloween Sex Offender Safety List

Before the kids go out trick-or-treating on Halloween, it’s a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood.

Charlestown has nine Level 3 sex offenders who either live or work in town, according to the state’s Sex Offender Registry Board.

The Level 3 sex offender designation is reserved for the most severe offenders. Level 3 sex offenders pose a ‘high risk’ to reoffend, according to the state. They are not wanted by police, and it is illegal to use the following information to commit a crime or engage in any discrimination or harassment against an offender.

Here’s a check on each level 3 sex offender:

Anthony Black, 58, lives at 129 Walford Way. Convicted of rape in 1979 and attempted rape in 1980.

Baron Bush, 61, works at 0 Terminal St. in Charlestown. Convicted of one count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age in 1997, one count of purchasing or possession child pornography in 2007, three counts of posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct in 1997 and five counts of purchasing or possessing child pornography in 2007.

Michael Gregoire, 61, works at 40 Warren Street. Convicted of four counts of rape and abuse of a child in 2003.

Marcos Martinez, 27, lives at 41 Corey Street. Convicted of four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child in 2011 and four counts of rape and abuse of a child.

Francis Metell, 34, works at 100 Terminal St. in Charlestown. Convicted of one count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors in 2008, one count of posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct in 2008, two counts of dissemination of child pornography in 2008, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age in 2008, three counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors in 2012, four counts of purchasing or possessing child pornography in 2008, 13 counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years of age and 449 counts of purchasing or possessing child pornography in 2012.

Gregory Motley, 46, works at 100 Terminal Street. Convicted of two counts of rape of a child with force and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child in 2009.

Anthony Norman, 47, attends Bunker Hill Community College. Convicted of three counts aggravated rape in 1987, rape of a child with force and assault with intent to rape.

Robin Styles, 56, works at 92 Arlington Avenue. Convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child in 1997.

Bryan York, 28, works at 56 Roland Street. Convicted of rape and abuse of child in 2013 and indecent assault and battery on a child in 2004.
