Daily 5: Charlestown Farmers Market, Engineering for Teens
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Wednesday, July 24 in Charlestown.

1. Showers possible: Wednesday, July 24 will be increasingly cloudy with a chance of showers after 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. High: 85, Low; 61.
2. Farmers market: The Kennedy Center's Charlestown Farmer’s Market is open Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to dusk through the end of October. Located on Main Street, near the Hubway rack and right in front of the Bunker Hill Mall, the Charlestown Farmers Market features produce and meat products sold by Stillman's Farm and a few other vendors.
3. Engineering for teenagers: Teens can learn about engineering concepts and build a small scale bridge during a program offered on Wednesday, July 24 at the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.). The program runs from 2-3 p.m. and is open to teens ages 13-18.

4. Coaches needed: Head and assistant coaches are needed for various Charlestown Youth Soccer teams. This is a volunteer position. If interested, contact Debbie Evans at dge@michaelsward.com.
5. Ready for a challenge? The Tufts 10K to fight blood cancer is coming up on Oct. 14, and Team in Training is looking for runners. Get support through every step of the fundraising and training process, including a flexible, eight-week workout program that takes place on alternating Saturday and Sunday mornings in Natick.
