Daily 5: Rep. O'Flaherty at Zume's, Storymobile Visits Charlestown
Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Friday, July 26 in Charlestown.

1. Rainy: Rain is likely on Friday, July 26, according to the National Weather Service. High: 73, Low: 65. Weekend forecast: Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 84 and a low around 71. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Sunday’s high will be near 83 and the low will be around 71.
2. Office hours: Second Suffolk District State Rep. Eugene O’Flaherty holds office hours on the last Friday of the month from 11 a.m. to noon at Zume’s Coffee House (223 Main St.). Drop by to speak with him on any issues of concern.
3. Storymobile: ReadBoston’s Storymobile Program will be bringing books and literacy activities to Charlestown children on Fridays in July and August. The Storymobile will be at The Children’s Quarters (136 First Ave.) at 10 a.m., the Kennedy Center (23A Moulton St.) at 11:15 a.m. and the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.) at 1:15 p.m.

4. Crafts in the park: Mayor Thomas Menino is sponsoring free Artists in Residence craft workshops around Boston parks during the month of July. On Friday, July 26, bring the kids to the John Harvard Mall (between Harvard and Main streets) in Charlestown. All sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon. 5. It’s Free Fun Friday! Drop by Boston Common on Friday, July 26 for Family Day activities from 12-4 p.m. and then return at 8 p.m. for a performance of Shakespeare’s “The Two Gentlemen of Verona.” Find other museums and locations around the Boston area that are offering free admission on July 26.
