
Learn more about Boston’s proposed new urban agriculture regulations at a public meeting scheduled Monday, June 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont St., in the first-floor function room.
Hear about key elements proposed in a draft version of Boston Zoning Code Article 89 related to commercial farms, farmers markets and farm stands, aquaculture, hydroponics and aquaponics, farm composting, farm soil safety and backyard bee- and hen-keeping.
This is the first in a series of 10 neighborhood meetings sponsored by the Boston Redevelopment Authority that will be held on the subject and is geared toward Boston’s inner core, including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Chinatown, Downtown Boston, North End, West End and Charlestown. However, people from all neighborhoods are welcome to attend any meeting.
