The Friends of the Charlestown Navy Yard will present a Summer Solstice Celebration at Shipyard Park in the Navy Yard to welcome the start of the season. The celebration is a free event, and families are encouraged to attend.
The Charlestown Working Theater, CHAD and the Boston Redevelopment Authority are sponsoring the event.
Entertainment will be provided by Magician Michael Bent, Abakidabra, and music will be provided by Made in the Shade, a blend of New Orleans jazz, funk and soul.
