Gallery to Feature GLBT Artists

That's So Gay, a new show at the Bunker Hill Community College gallery, features more than 20 GLBT artists.

It's not just Charlestown Pride Week. It's also Gay Pride Week in Boston.

To celebrate, the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery is opening a new show that features gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender artists. There will be a reception tonight (June 7) at 6 p.m. in the gallery. 

The show, called "That's So Gay" is a group exhibition showcasing the diverse art of more than 20 Boston-area GLBT artists who work in various media to explore the gay liberation movement, politics and identity.

The show includes works by Sparky Alexander, Larry Bowling, Bobby Busnach, Caleb Cole, Shelby Condray, Jess Dugan, Russell duPont, Daniel Embree, Anh Ðào Kolbe, Loki LaChapelle, Emily Lombardo, Peter Madden, David Mynott, Steven Muller, Hunter Pavay, Robert Siegelman, Thomas Stocker, Bud Turner, Lex Thomas, Zoe Perry-Wood, and others.

There will be refreshments and live music by Yani Batteau.
