Harvard-Kent Art Show, Boys & Girls Club Album Release Party Tonight

Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on June 6 in Charlestown.

1. Partly sunny: Today will be partly sunny with a high near 73 degrees and a low around 55, according to the National Weather Service. Rain is likely late this evening, mainly after 4 a.m.

2. HK Art Show: Harvard-Kent Elementary School will hold their annual Student Art Show at the StoveFactory Gallery (150 Medford St.) tonight from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event is open to the community.

3. Album release party: The teens at Charlestown Boys and Girls Club’s C-Town Studio invite the community to enjoy them in celebrating the release of their new, locally produced album titled "Life," today at 6 p.m. at 15 Green St. For details, email dferreira@bgcb.org.

4. Cobblestone Kids: Bring the kids by the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.) today at 4:30 p.m. to participate in a new kids club led by Park Ranger Beth from Boston National Historical Park. Junior Rangers will enjoy a snack, make a craft and start collecting stamps in their passport packets. Each month will feature a site of historical importance in Boston. 5. Battle of Bunker Hill Road Race: Register now for the Battle of Bunker Hill 8K Race, which will be held Sunday, June 16 and will benefit the Boys and Girls Club. The USAT&F-certified course will begin and end at the Navy Yard and will pass the Bunker Hill Monument, USS Constitution and Warren Tavern.
