Curious what this film R.I.P.D. is about? Definitely not bank robbers from the Town. The story follows a murdered cop, played by Ryan Reynolds, who is recruited to work in the "Rest in Peace Department" -- this is a police force made up of ghosts. Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, and Stephanie Szostak are also in the cast.

I'm pretty sure this is not a comedy. But it does sound a little amusing.
