Some city councilors want to boost anti-idling enforcement. Plus four more things to know today.

Today is Thursday, Oct. 27. Here are five things you need to know today.
1. Have those tour buses on Chelsea Street been irking you? Or how about the idling delivery trucks? Well, as it turns out, if any vehicle is idling in Boston for more than five minutes, it's illegal. And a couple of city councilors -- including Charlestown's district rep Sal LaMattina -- want to see enforcement of that law increase. on the issue.
