This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Boston is being considered a huge success thanks to a couple of cultural milestones.

But unfortunately police arrested more people at the 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade than they did at last year’s event. At least fewer citations were issued.
The Boston Police Department arrested 10 people and issued 278 citations during this year’s parade, a 5:10 p.m. report on Sunday indicated. Most of the arrests and citations were related to public drinking, according to BostInno.
Five people were arrested at the 2014 parade, and three of those people were arrested for public drinking. A total of 293 citations were issued last year.
