CHARLESTOWN, MA — There is a large police presence near the Tobin Bridge in Charlestown, according to photos shared by multiple outlets Tuesday afternoon.

In photos shared by NBC News, caution tape can be seen on Terminal Street as the investigation is underway.

A Boston police representative told Patch that as of 1 p.m. the area was still an "active crime scene" and nothing can be confirmed.

WBZ reporter Jordyn Jagolinzer, who is on the scene, said just after 3:30 p.m. that "a search is still underway" for a "suspect," with police dogs assisting officers.
