Local Home Cook Featured on Recipe Sharing Site
Lynn Sorrentino's American Chop Suey recipe is published on Just a Pinch -- and here, on Patch.

Charlestown hometown cook Lynn Sorrentino is sharing her American Chop Suey recipe with thousands of others at Just A Pinch Recipe Club, an online social community for cooks in hometown America at www.justapinch.com.
Sorrentino is one of several area residents participating in the club, known as "America's Great Recipe Swap,” according to a press release fron Just a Pinch.
Members can post their own "family tested and approved" recipes, try recipes submitted by other club members, print hundreds of grocery coupons and enter recipe contests. They also have the opportunity to utilize a personal online recipe box to save recipes, compile grocery lists and plan meals.
Sorrentino's American Chop Suey recipe, along with thousands of others, can be viewed, printed and shared at no charge through the recipe club.
"Kids love this. It's a quick and easy dinner to serve if you're a working mom. Even better the next day," says Sorrentino.

American Chop Suey
Ingredients:
- 1 to1 1/2 lb ground beef
- salt
- pepper
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- 1 can(s) campbell's tomato soup
- 1 can(s) progresso Italian tomato or tomato basil soup
- 1 bx elbow macaroni

- Brown hamburger in frying pan.
- Add salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder to taste.
- While browning hamburger, boil water for pasta. (Usually elbow macaroni.)
- Cook and drain pasta.
- Drain grease from hamburger and add to pasta.
- Add tomato soup right from the can. (Do not add milk or water.) Mix together.
- Add can of Italian tomato or tomato basil soup right from can. Mix together and serve!
