MBTA Announces Shuttles for St. Patrick's Day Parade

The parade is on Sunday, March 15 at 1 p.m.

The MBTA Friday announced its service plans for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

A recent press release indicated that for the first time, shuttle bus service will operate to and from South Station, and along Summer Street and East 1st Street in South Boston from the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Another option for parade-goers is Red Line train service to South Station, Andrew Station and Broadway Station. But it is important that customers be aware that trains will frequently bypass Broadway Station due to heavy crowds and public safety concerns.
