Mothers Association to Host Meet-the-Schools Event

Have questions about which private, public or charter school is right for your family? Representatives from over 50 schools will be in Charlestown on Monday night to answer them.

Trying to navigate the all of your child's options education options in and around Charlestown is no easy task.

Recognizing that, the Charlestown Mothers Association is coordinating a third annual Meet-the-Schools event on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the .

This event will feature representatives from over 50 public, independent, parochial and charter schools from preschool through 8th grade.

If you have questions about admissions, the school culture or extra-curricular opportunities -- this is the place to bring them.

There will also be two information sessions on “How to Navigate the Boston Public School System” and “How to Navigate Private/Independent Schools," held at 6:30 and 7:15, respectively.

According to CMA member and event coordinator, Sue Lacey, “This is one of the most important decisions parents make for their children and we are fortunate to have so many great options within Charlestown and our neighboring communities. Our goal with this event is to give parents as many tools as possible to assist in your decision making process.”

This event is free and open to the entire community.
