Assault with a Tree Branch
An unnamed man was arrested for striking a woman with a tree branch while she was walking with a friend on 13th Street on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The victim told police she was walking down the street when the suspect approached her and “for no reason became verbally abusive.” After passing the woman and her friend, the suspect reportedly picked up a tree branch, walked up behind the victim and struck her in the back.
Boston Police were able to locate the man on Chelsea Street and arrested him.

Punch Thrown in Neighborly Dispute
A Pearl Street resident reported being punched in the face by a neighbor during an argument on Wednesday, Dec. 5. Complaints are being filed in court, according to reports.
iPhone Replaced with Fake
An employee at a store on Austin Street reported that someone stole an iPhone and replaced it with a fake Sprint phone sometime between 7 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5. Detectives are investigating.
Shoplifter Assaults Person, Leave License Behind
A person on Main Street reported being physically assaulted while trying to detain a shoplifter on Saturday, Dec. 8. The suspect reportedly fled from the store but left his Massachusetts driver’s license on the counter. Police are investigating.
Pair Arrested for Oxycodone Possession
Police arrested two unnamed individuals for possession of Oxycodone in the area of Essex Street on Saturday, Dec. 8 as a result of an ongoing drug investigation. The suspects were charged with possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute.
Man Violated No Trespass Order
A local man is being summonsed to court after he allegedly violated a no trespass order. Police observed the man at a Monument Street address on Sunday, Dec. 9 and reportedly knew the man was not supposed to be on the property.
Wallet Stolen from Coat
A woman on Pleasant Street reported that someone stole her wallet from her coat sometime between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Dec. 8. Detectives are reviewing video footage of the incident.
$1,500 Intercom System Stolen
An individual on Monument Square reported on Tuesday, Dec. 11 that someone had stolen an intercom system valued at $1,500 from the building.
Probation Violation
An unnamed individual on Vine Street was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 4 for violating a probation warrant issued out of U.S. Federal Court.
