Driver Punches Pedestrian in the Mouth
A man crossing Main Street on Monday, June 10 was reportedly punched in the face by the driver of a pickup truck when the two “had words.”

The man told police he was crossing near 529 Main St. when he exchanged words with the driver, who then got out of his vehicle and punched the pedestrian in the mouth. The driver then left the scene.
Boston Police detectives, with the help of the victim and other witnesses, were able to identify the driver, and complaints will be sought in Charlestown Court.

Tailgate Stolen
A person on Austin Street reported that someone stole the rear gate off his vehicle while it was parked on Monday, June 10.
Outstanding Larceny Warrant
A driver on Austin Street was arrested on Wednesday, June 12 for driving with a suspended license and on an outstanding larceny warrant out of Quincy Court.
Driving with Suspended License
A driver on Medford Street was arrested on Thursday, June 13 for driving with a suspended license.
Cocaine Possession
An individual on Medford Street was arrested for cocaine possession on Monday, June 17 as the result of a police investigation. The formal charge was possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute.
Business Broken Into
A Cambridge Street appliance store was broken into sometime over the weekend and a wall safe and computers were stolen.
The owner of Mystic Appliance at 135 Cambridge St. returned to the store after the weekend and noticed that the rear door was open. The wall safe had been cut out of the wall and computers were missing. The computer that operates the store’s security system was also taken, as well as a second safe.
Boston Police detectives are investigating.
