Screen Cut in Attempted Break-in
A Dunstable Street resident called police after seeing a man crouched outside her glass sliding door on Wednesday, April 10.

The woman had returned home at around 7 p.m. and was inside when she discovered the individual. The resident’s barking dogs caused the man to run away in the direction of Main Street.
The man had not gained entry to the home, but the screen on the rear door had been cut, according to police reports. Boston Police detectives are investigating.

Shots Fired on Dunstable Street
Police were called to Dunstable Street on Monday, April 8 at around 1 a.m. for the report of shots fired. Officers did not locate any evidence that evening; however, the following morning a witness reported finding a shell casing. Officers returned to the scene and canvassed the area, finding one more casing.
Boston Police detectives are investigating.
OUI Arrest
An individual was arrested on Rutherford Avenue on Monday, April 8 for operating under the influence.
Men Attempt to Rob Pizza Delivery Person
A pizza delivery man was the victim of an attempted robbery on Monday, April 8. According to police reports, the man had just left a delivery on O’Reilly Way when three men approached him and tried to rob him. The victim was able to get away without having anything taken. Police searched the area but did not locate the suspects.
Police Seize Cocaine, Handgun During Investigation
Five people believed to be involved in the distribution of cocaine were arrested in the Bunker Hill housing development on Friday, April 12.
While executing a search warrant on O’Reilly Way, police arrested three individuals for charges not mentioned in the police report and seized a black 9mm handgun with ammunition as well as various narcotics.
During the investigation, two more people were taken into custody and charged with cocaine possession (a Class B substance) with intent to distribute.
Purse Snatched on Main Street
A woman who was sitting on a bench on Main Street drinking coffee had her purse stolen by a man walking by on Sunday, April 14. The man was described as a white male wearing dark clothing and reportedly walked by, took the woman’s purse and then continued down Main Street toward Green Street. A witness chased the man but lost him in the area of Warren Street, according to reports.
