Police were called to the area of O’Meara Court on Thursday, April 4 at around 12:15 p.m. for the report of a found weapon. At the scene, officers located a weapon in the bushes. The item was processed and removed from the scene.

Break-in at Construction Site

An unknown person broke into a construction site on West School Street. Nothing was listed as missing in the police report.

Report of Shots Fired, Ballistic Evidence Found

Police responded to the area of Dunstable Street on Monday, April 8 at around 1:40 a.m. for the report of some found ballistic evidence. There was a report of shots fired in the area earlier that morning.

Driver Arrested for OUI

Police arrested a driver for OUI after the person was seen swerving and ran several red lights on Monday, April 8.

Officers received a radio call for a motor vehicle swerving in and out of traffic at around 2:50 a.m. They observed the vehicle sideways in the middle of the road blocking traffic on Rutherford Avenue. When officers approached the vehicle on foot, the driver fled the scene at a high rate of speed, running several red lights.

Police eventually stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver.
