Power Restored After Brief Outage
An "electrical charge" cut power near Sullivan Square on Wednesday, as well as large areas in Somerville.

There was a brief power outage on Wednesday between approximately 10 and 11 a.m. that affected customers near Sullivan Square.
Early reports on Twitter and here on Patch indicated the outage may have been related to a utilty employee being electrocuted on Alford Street. NSTAR confirmed today those reports were false. No employee was injured.
As of noon on Wednesday, all of the power in Charlestown, as well as Somerville, was restored.
