Project Bread Seeks Artists, Shutterbugs

Project Bread is taking submissions from local photographers and artists for its annual holiday cards. Winners receive $1,000

Project Bread, the state’s leading antihunger organization, is seeking photographers, illustrators, and designers to help create their next collection of holiday cards. Winners receive $1,000.

Each year, the proceeds raised from the purchase of the cards help feed local families in need. Get in the spirit of giving by submitting your artwork.

Selected artists will receive $1,000 for each design that is chosen. Their work will be sold at major retailers, including Whole Foods, and their designs will be featured on the Project Bread website.

Artist’s bios will be imprinted on each card. Cards are usually purchased by individuals and corporations committed to ending hunger, thus designs must appeal to a mass market audience. Submissions of secular holiday designs and iconic photos of Boston during the holiday are encouraged.

For past examples, please visit www.projectbread.org/ourcards. Artwork must be entered by Friday, June 17 and emailed to Sasha_Didier@projectbread.org. The preferred format is PDF for printed cards and HTML for e-cards.
