Man Shot and Killed in Charlestown

A man died as a result of a gun shot wound following a shooting in the Bunker Hill Housing Development on Wednesday night.

A black male in his 20s was shot and killed on Wednesday night in McNulty Court in the Bunker Hill Housing Development, according to Boston police.

Police responded to the shooting around 10:45 p.m. The victim was transported to Mass. General Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

The victim's identity will not be released until police contact his family.

The police have no suspects in the shooting and are leading an "active investigation" according to a police spokesman.
