A black male in his 20s was shot and killed on Wednesday night in McNulty Court in the Bunker Hill Housing Development, according to Boston police. Police responded to the shooting around 10:45 p.m. The victim was transported to Mass. General Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival, police said. The victim's identity will not be released until police contact his family.  The police have no suspects in the shooting and are leading an "active investigation" according to a police spokesman. Anyone with information is strongly encouraged to call the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470. Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word 'TIP' to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department is only interested in what you know, not who you are.
