Studying for a Health Career? Apply for this Scholarship
The Charlestown Health Care Merit Scholarship will grant two awards to residents enrolled in a non-MD program. Deadline to apply is July 8.

Any Charlestown resident studying to become a health professional is eligible for a Charlestown Health Care Merit Scholarship. Applications are due July 8.
Two scholarships totaling $6,000 are available to any resident enrolled in a program of study leading to a non-MD health career, such as nursing, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, x-ray technician, or other health sciences professions.
Eligible students must have completed at least two semesters at a community college, a undergraduate college or university, or graduate school.

One student attending a community college will receive a $2,500 scholarship, while one student attending undergraduate or graduate school will receive a $3,500 award.
Applications must include an essay that demonstrates the applicant’s leadership qualities through community service work. Proof of Charlestown residency is also required.
