The Hubway Bike Sharing Program is Coming, but Not to Charlestown
The city's bike sharing program launches tomorrow with 600 bikes at 61 stations. None of them are in the neighborhood.

Today is Wednesday, July 27. Here are five things you need to know today.
1. The city's bike sharing program launches on Thursday at 11 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony. It will kick off with 600 bikes at 61 different stations. And not a single one of them in is Charlestown.
2. Reminder: There's that tonight at the Constitution Inn YMCA. City officials and the Friends of Charlestown Navy Yard will be meeting to discuss plans to bring a truck to the Navy Yard. Starts at 7 p.m. on the fifth floor. All are welcome.
3. Hopefully you've been checking out some of these passport stories. We're running an amazing piece in today's package: A "travel back in time" piece that looks at the Irish cemetery behind St. Francis de Sales. It's a sad and powerful tale.
4. Starting today, I'm on vacation. I'm off to the rural part of Massachusetts to get married. Chris Treacy will fill in as guest editor while I'm away (until August 5). If you need anything, have questions or great story ideas, send them his way: ctreacy2010@yahoo.com. I'll see you all in August.
