Two Benefits in Town Tonight

Friday is a big night for supporting local organizations in Charlestown.

A Rod Stewart impersonator will take the stage at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus to raise funds for the restoration of Memorial Hall (Abraham Lincoln Post #11). Tickets are $30 and all proceeds will support work done at one of Charlestown's oldest buildings.

And on the other side of the neighborhood, local comedian Tony V will be taking the stage at the Charlestown Working Theater for the organization's annual comedy benefit.

Tony V and his comedian pals will host an evening of food, drink and laughter at the theater. Tickets are $100 and all proceeds go toward the children's and educational programming at the theater.
