Want a Free Trip to NY or LA? Want to Hang with Heidi Klum?

1. So there's this little contest Patch is sponsoring. With Heidi Klum. Basically, we want to see your kid's Halloween costume. If his or hers is the best, you could both win a free trip to NYC or LA, and hang out with Heidi. Here's the rub: You've got to submit a photo -- -- before 9 p.m. on Halloween night. So when your kiddo is training their costume on this weekend, please snap a pic and upload it. We've already got a few entries. On Halloween night, I'll select the best ones from Charlestown and submit them to Heidi. (She'll be looking at the best from *hundreds* of Patch sites to pick a winner.) 3. Just and FYI: is hosting a canned food drive this month in its main building lobby. The food will be donated to the Harvest on Vine food pantry. You could, of course, just make a donation to . Either way, I'm sure the food pantry could use your support, especially this time of year.

4. The Lions Club is collecting coats for children, babies and adults between now and Jan. 8. The coats can be left at the Charlestown Cooperative Bank during regular banking hours and they will be taken to Anton's Cleaners where the company will clean all of them for free. And they'll be distributed to people in the community in need.
