2. Maybe your kids disagree, but I'll bet several of you parents think the start of the school year is something to celebrate. The city thinks so too. This weekend there will be a "Back to School Jamboree" on City Hall Plaza. There will be live performances, health screenings, free back-to-school supplies and other activities free to all BPS students and their families. Fun goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

3. There's a good chance the Sunday afternoon performance of the will be rescheduled because of the hurricane. If the storm does come, the show will take place on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. in .

4. However, you can catch the last performance of this weekend at the Charlestown Working Theater. Visit the Working Theater's web site for tickets and info.
