Why Go: Great deals to be had! Used books, DVDs and CDs for children as well as adults and toys. The proceeds benefit this neighborhood play area.

4. HOOP DANCING AND GAMES
Where/When: Saturday May 21 from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Barefoot Books in Concord
Why Go: Learn this ancient form of storytelling that dates back to Native culture groups (as far back as the 1400s!). Hoops provided for all.

5. THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER PRESENTED BY WATERTOWN CHILDREN'S THEATER
Where/When: Sunday, May 22 at 1 p.m. at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown
Why Go: Mark Twain's powerful message comes to life as WCT actors perform his funny tale about walking in someone else's shoes. Actors in grades 3-5 perform this ensemble drama as part of WCT's literature-based Play Factory program.
