Wynn Found Not at Fault After Casino Landowners' Arrest
Three individuals were charged last week, but the Mass. Gaming Commission said Wynn Resorts was not involved.

Authorities and representatives with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission this week found that Wynn Resorts did nothing wrong after three landowners of the site of Wynn’s proposed casino in Everett were arrested and indicted for fraud, according to NECN.
Last week, the landowners were indicted on accusations that they kept secret the notion that one of them was reportedly a convicted felon and would benefit from the sale of the land in Everett, according to NECN.
The MGC previously voted in favor of awarding Wynn a casino license to build a resort-style casino in Everett across the bridge from Charlestown’s Sullivan Square. The proposed casino has thus far caused debate among Charlestown residents and officials, with the MGC previously deeming Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts “suitable” to obtain a casino license in eastern Massachusetts.
