Chelmsford Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent To Play College Sports
November 9 was the first day seniors could sign to play DI or DII sports next year. These local athletes will be playing at the next level.

CHELMSFORD, MA — For high school athletes, Nov. 9 was the first day that seniors could sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play Division I or Division II collegiate sports next year.
Athletes from several local schools signed to play at the next level, and many schools held ceremonies to mark the occasion.
At Chelmsford High School, 15 athletes signed letters of intent:

"This is our largest group of student-athletes taking part in NLI signing day in recent memory," Chelmsford High Athletic Director Dan Hart told Patch. "We are extremely proud of these kids and excited to see them play at the next level, which isn't an easy thing to do."
Hart continued: "Having this many student-athletes with the desire to play college athletics is also a reflection on the outstanding coaches we have on staff and the success each team has achieved."

Another athlete from Chelmsford, Rylie Jones, has signed to play ice hockey at Northeastern. She attends Cushing Academy.
