Another Section of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail Closed Tuesday for Maintanence

Crews have been working on the trail each Tuesday throughout the month of August.

Tree pruning and clearing and debris removal continues this week on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in Chelmsford.

On Aug. 25, the section of the trail from Maple Road to High Street will be closed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. to allow crews to complete the work.

The town’s department of public works contracted with Arbor East for the project. Each Tuesday in August, crews have been on the trail working on a different section.
