CHELMSFORD, MA — Chelmsford has issued a snow parking ban for Friday, Jan. 7 ahead of what is expected to be the area's first major snowstorm of 2022. The parking ban will be in effect from 12 a.m. through 8 p.m. Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from roadways as to not interfere with plow operations. Vehicles that are parked on the roads during parking ban hours are subject to being towed at the owner's expense. "Thank you for your cooperation to help plow operations run smoothly," said Chelmsford Highway Superintendent Joe Ericksen in an announcement Thursday.
